Less than a 2 hour flight to get there, No passports, Visas, traffic or hassles. A maximum limit of only 400 visitors are allowed on the island at any one time which makes Lord Howe a brilliant destination for a quiet getaway. Lord Howe is World Heritage listed and a NSW Marine Park, the Island as a whole has been very heavily protected from development so you won’t find any big resorts or high rises, you won’t even find a traffic light. But most of all there is no mobile phone reception so you can leave your hassles at home. Lord Howe is a very safe destination to bring the family.
